WHO WE ARE AND WHAT WE DO.

The Naperville Community Radio Watch (NCRW) is composed of volunteer citizens who supplement the police force as observers of suspicious or criminal activity. Additionally, the NCRW provides additional security at several special events throughout the year, including Rib Fest and the Last Fling. Designated members also give informational talks to Neighborhood Watch and other groups upon request.

Naperville's explosive growth and large land area make it difficult to deter or prevent all criminal activity. Through diverse assignments and random patrols, the Community Radio Watch can never be discounted as a threat to any intended criminal act.  Every pair of headlights is a legitimate concern for would-be law breakers. By it's existence, the NCRW acts as a deterrent to criminal activity and affords the city with a unique crime prevention resource.
