All Naperville Community Radio Watch (NCRW) members are aware of ethical responsibilities of their position and MUST strive constantly to live up to the highest possible standards.
Our Duties and Responsibilities.
An NCRW member acts as an "official representative on or off duty" of the Naperville Police Department. The Chief of Police of the Naperville Police Department confers the member's duties. The fundamental duties of the NCRW member includes serving the community and safeguarding lives and property by acting as an additional set of eyes and ears for the Naperville Police Department. Members only perform duties as delegated by the Police departments sworn personnel.
NCRW
members always conduct themselves in appearance and deportment in such a
manner as to inspire confidence and respect for the position of public
trust that they hold.
Discretion-Confidentiality-Integrity.
A NCRW member responsibly
uses the discretion vested in his/her position and exercises it
within the law.
